Here is a list of this year's honorary doctors, new professors, award recipients and medalists.

According to Umeå University traditions, new professors, honorary doctors and award recipients held a lecture on their research in the morning of the day of the ceremony.

The general public is welcome and every lecture lasted for 20 minutes with a ten-minute break in between. Refreshment at 10:20.

17:00 Ceremony

The ceremony in Aula Nordica included the conferment of honorary doctors, the installation of new professors and the presentation of awards for scientific achievement and medalists.

The cermony lasts for about two hours and general public is welcome. There are unreserved seats available for the general public in the back of the auditorium or on the balcony.
