Portland Press

The publication fee (APC, article processing charge) is paid by the library via an agreement between the library and Portland Press. This applies to open access publishing in all Biochemical Society journals published by Portland Press.

Terms and conditions

• You must be the corresponding author, i.e. the one handling communication with the publisher and journal.
• Your Umeå University affiliation must be stated in the published article.
• Use your email address ending in @umu.se. The email domain is often used to recognise your eligibility.
• The agreement covers all article types that require a publication fee.
• The agreement covers articles with a "submission date" of 2024.
• Your article will be published under a CC BY license.
