Cogitatio Press

The open access publishing fee (APC, article processing charge) is paid through a membership agreement between the library and Cogitatio Press. The agreement applies to all journals published by the open access publisher Cogitatio Press.

Terms and conditions

• You must be the corresponding author, i.e., the one handling communication with the publisher and journal.
• Your Umeå University affiliation must be stated in the published article.
• You must use your university email ending with @umu.se in order to be identified as an Umeå University affiliated author.
• The agreement applies to the article types "article", "book review", "commentary", "editorial", "review" and "short note".
• Your article will be published under a CC BY license.

How the publishing process works

• The manuscript must be submitted via the journal’s online submission system to one of the forthcoming thematic issues.
• The template file provided by Cogitatio Press must be used when preparing a manuscript.
• The journal undertakes a double-blind peer-review process.
• The article will be made available online “ahead of print”.
